If you enjoy gourmet chocolate bars, check them before indulging. The FDA has expanded its recall of Spring & Mulberry mint chocolate bars to include additional flavors over Salmonella contamination concerns. Affected products were sold online and in stores since September 15, 2025. If you possess these bars, refrain from consuming them. Send a photo of the product’s lot code to Spring & Mulberry for a refund or replacement. Although no illnesses have been linked to the recall, Salmonella is a serious foodborne hazard, potentially lethal for certain individuals, including children and those with compromised immune systems. Symptoms may include fever, bloody diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps. Severe cases could lead to critical conditions like arterial infections or arthritis.
