If you’ve recently bought a new kitchen faucet from Amazon, it’s time to check your purchase. Three faucet models have been recalled due to high levels of lead, posing a significant health risk, particularly to children. The models affected are the VFAUOSIT Kitchen Faucet, KICIMPRO Kitchen Faucet, and BASDEHEN Kitchen Faucet. Although no lead poisoning cases have been reported yet, it’s essential to act promptly.
To mitigate lead exposure, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends running your water for 15 seconds before use. If you own one of these faucets, contact the seller for a full refund. Make sure to have a photo of the faucet ready as proof for the refund process.
