The survey suggests that high population density and the fast pace of life contribute to the perceived rudeness in larger cities. However, this doesn’t imply that all residents in these places lack manners.
Cities like Raleigh, Milwaukee, and Providence are less likely to greet you with brusque behavior. For those looking to escape rude encounters altogether, Utah, crowned as the happiest state by WalletHub, could be a more agreeable choice.
