Costco is well-known for meeting the needs of large families, households, and small groups. Now, this retail giant is reaching out to college students with a special offer. Recognizing that their basic Gold Star membership’s annual fee of $65 might be steep for students, Costco has crafted an enticing deal alongside UNiDAYS.
Students aged 16 and above who register as new Costco members and use UNiDAYS will be awarded a $20 digital gift card. This gift card can be redeemed on purchases made during their first year of membership, aiding in their acquisition of study essentials, snacks, and more. One essential requirement of this offer is that it needs to be availed exclusively through UNiDAYS, where students must prove their current student status.
UNiDAYS, aimed at students, delivers offers, discount codes, and special savings from popular brands like Lululemon and Stanley. Apart from being 16 or older, students should enroll as Gold Star Members with auto-renewal. Those with expired memberships (for at least 18 months) are also eligible.
Moreover, the enrolled students receive two membership cards to be used for in-store or online purchases. Doorstep delivery to campuses is available for online orders. Teachers and faculty members can also benefit, albeit with varied terms.
If educators join as Executive Members for $130 annually and activate auto-renewal through UNiDAYS, they will be rewarded with a $40 Costco gift card. Although this membership costs more, benefits include additional service discounts and a 2% annual reward on qualified purchases.
Upon completion of enrollment, students and eligible teachers will receive an email within two weeks on how to claim their digital gift card and membership cards. Signing up now allows them to start stocking up on early fall essentials promptly!
