Trader Joe’s is expanding its presence in the United States with the announcement of 17 new locations set to open in 2025. As one of the nation’s most beloved grocery chains, Trader Joe’s continues to grow, bringing its popular array of meals, snacks, and beverages to more customers.
Among the new locations, Hoover, Alabama will see its third Trader Joe’s opening on May 14, 2025. Similarly, Washington, D.C.’s Brookland neighborhood will welcome its first store in mid-May, anticipating a lively addition to the local grocery scene.
California, already home to numerous Trader Joe’s, will introduce its first stores in Tarzana and Sherman Oaks. Tarzana opened on May 6, and Sherman Oaks will soon have two convenient options for shoppers.
In the south, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, will open their first Trader Joe’s locations, much to the excitement of local residents. Oklahoma City joins the list of cities eagerly awaiting their inaugural store by the end of the year.
Northeastern states are not left behind. Exton, Pennsylvania, Glenmont, New York, and Woodbridge, New Jersey, are all on track to join the Trader Joe’s family, offering a beloved shopping experience, though some stores like Exton and Woodbridge will not include alcohol in their offerings.
Further openings are slated for cities including, McKinney, Texas; Westminster, Colorado; Boston’s West Roxbury neighborhood; New Orleans, located conveniently near Tulane University; and Yucaipa, California, which looks forward to offering both groceries and beverages.
Residents and visitors to Tracy, California, will soon enjoy a store complete with beer, wine, and liquor, enhancing the shopping experience in San Joaquin County.
With these exciting openings, Trader Joe’s continues to provide its unique shopping experience to new communities, and many more are expected to follow as 2025 progresses.
