Jessica Wrubel has dedicated two decades to educating on and writing about topics such as food, health & wellness, travel, lifestyle, education, and home improvement. In her professional journey, she has excelled as a writer, fact-checker, and copy editor, contributing to various publications, newspapers, and public libraries where she has engaged in reference, research, and special projects.
Her experience as an educator, fact-checker, and copy editor has honed her ability to spot detail, errors, and inaccuracies. Jessica has crafted articles on entertainment, wellness, lifestyle, and food for a wide range of platforms including local publications, trade magazines, and major websites like those owned by Tribune Publishing, The Arena Group, and Hearst Communications. Additionally, she has creatively developed and led programs in craft, cooking, social media, and mindfulness targeting teens in schools and libraries across several states.
Jessica’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Nutrition from Southern Connecticut State University, where she also led the Society of Professional Journalists as president. She further pursued and earned a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the same university.
